Money Advice Direct will show you how to:
IVA or Individual Voluntary debts over £17,000
The IVA agreement shows your creditors your financial position and explains how much you can afford to pay over a period of no more than 5 years. Provided most of your creditors agree, all your debts will be included in the agreement and you will be protected against any action being taken against you by any of your other creditors. If you agree that an IVA is the best way forward we will work with you to decide how much you can realistically afford to pay each month while making sure you have a reasonable amount left to cover living expenses for you and your family.
During the time you are making payments under the agreement we will conduct regular reviews of your monthly payments. If you are not able to afford the monthly payments due to unexpected circumstances we are able to ask creditors to agree to reduce the agreed payments. If an IVA is not for you we will explain the alternative solutions and recommend how you should proceed.
Through their specialist training, Money Advice Direct can deliver their expertise on the IVA procedure to help those struggling with serious debts over £17,000. To apply for an IVA please click HERE.
Debt Management to Clear Personal Debts over £2,000
A Debt Management Plan can be used long term or short term depending on your circumstances and other possible future options. If successful this would probably result in lower or token payments which in turn would mean you taking longer to pay off your debts. Read more about Debt Management Plans here
Bankruptcy to Clear Debt over £750
Bankruptcy is a court order that you can apply for if you're in debt. It may be the best way for you to free yourself from excessive debts that you simply cannot pay by sharing out any assets you have among your creditors. Someone you owe money to could also make you bankrupt, even if you don't apply for it through your own choice. Read more about Bankruptcy.
Once you have taken that vital first step in wanting to do something about your finances, we can help you work towards clearing your debts. For example, an IVA can help get rid of debts after five years by getting people you owe money to agree to write off what you can't afford to pay. Call us to find out more about this and other debt solutions.
