Introduction
Money Advice Direct operates offers companies and individuals the opportunity of representation at meetings of creditors anywhere in the United Kingdom.
With sufficient notice our professional representatives can attend creditors' meetings held by liquidators and receivers to enable members' interests to be fully protected.
This service includes the following:-
- Representation by an insolvency professional who is able to ask the relevant questions
- A detailed written report
- Advice on dividend prospects
- Advice on VAT bad debt relief
- Details of any associated companies/businesses
- Advice on retention of title claims
- We will make enquiries to ascertain the whereabouts of property subject to finance agreements. All that we require from members of the group is for them to contact us as soon as possible when notified that one of their debtors has convened a meeting of its creditors and for the member to provide us with:
- The completed or blank form of proof of debt (where applicable) and proxy signed or unsigned; and
- a copy of the debtor's outstanding statement of account or other details of the debt due to you and
- a copy of the notice convening the meeting
